Well, this song has been posted a number of times, and I’v noticed that
the intro has been messed up every single time and there are parts where
it is variations of power chords and not actual power chords, which sound
a lot closer to the song. Not to mention that, but this tab that I am
submitting has rhythms in it and everything, so it will be very exact
when it comes to that. I would appreciate this tab being put up on the
website for many peoples sakes.

From - The Anatomy of Tongue In Cheek

I just need to take a moment to say, that I know this intro
is almost 100% correct, if it already isn't. The only thing
that might not be is the rhythm of the lead part, but that’s it.
I know for a fact that he does pick an octave down during the
lead part. As for the rest of the song, I am almost 100% sure about
the fretting. The acoustic part could be different because I don’t know
what voicing he uses.

The Intro - (most complex part of the song)

And from what I can hear,
there’s no guitar until right
after the first Chorus, during the lead part,
which is exactly the same as the intro, so,
just reference to that part, right after the
solo bass part.

For the last part there’s an acoustic guitar that Im not sure
about. I’ll just put the chords that I think they play.

Dmaj, Amaj, Bm, Gmaj, Amaj

That’s the basic jist of it.
